 What on earth is bit.ly?!?!?!?
So I know that bit.ly shortens urls for you to make them easier to work with... similar to tiny url. But I also have read that bit.ly links are analyzed and ranked. Is there anyone who is knowledgeable about this site who could clue me in???  Thanks in advance!!!

if I am not mistaken, it's same as su.pr and ow.ly. They are url shorteners that also tracks your statistics and increases your traffic and exposure.
