I have worked SUPER hard on this photo contest, and I still only have 26 entries. Any tips to get more entries- I only have 1 more day.

It is on Jessica Loves to Save Money (sorry I can't post links yet)

It is a Hat themed photo contest, open to Children up to age 8, and the winner wins their choice of hat from the sponsor's Etsy store.

Just a few thoughts. Not sure if you have already done these things or not. But in case you have not, they will help.

* Send out a few tweets per day on your Twitter account announcing the contest
* Send out some private messages to your friends on Facebook who you think would be interested in taking part in the competition
* Contact other bloggers in your niche who might be interested in telling their readers about your contest

Just a couple thoughts. Hope that helps. Twitter and Facebook usually do the trick for me.

Do you follow any mommy bloggers, comment on other mommy blogs, etc? Maybe try contacting a few of those personally. Don't do it at random or contact bloggers who obviously aren't going to recognize you or you've never spoken to them, but if there are any that might recognize your name, go for it. You might be surprised that they'd be willing to help...even if you only get their vote and they don't actually post about it.

Definitely go ahead and tweet about it another time or two, too. It's a fun contest and people aren't going to take it as spam as long as you're doing it sparingly and you're still posting other things, too.

I know you're trying to get your post count up and check out the forums. But posting on threads that are two months old isn't the ideal way to go about it.
