Hi,

I've posted about this before but didn't get many responses so I'll try again. I recently self published my rom-com Love Comes Knocking, which is aimed at young adults from 18+, it has a pretty universal theme so will suit most people.

Synopsis
Ben is a big guy with a big heart who is trying to find love in a image conscious world. Follow him on his journey as he kisses frogs, meets heartbreakers and crazy ladies. It is a truly hilarious story with a happy ending.

I have to deal with people like "Ben" everyday and hear how hard luck they are and blah blah. Why would I want a fictional Ben in my life?

Ben sounds more like a girl than a bloke. Perhaps you would be better off with a female protagonist.

That's true honey.. you should have made Ben a girl instead... that way, you'd attract more girls. Female is the gender more interested in writing personal stuff.
