Im a fellow Brit, based in sunny Essex I'm not technically a blogger as I run a site for blogging reviews and ratings. I would post link but as a newbie to the forum it wouldn't look too good. You can always Im me if you want the URL. I guess once I have enough posts I can put a link in my sig.

Hi - you're not too far from me! I'm the other side of the river in Kent (can see the delightful Tilbury power station from my office window!).

I think you have to make 20 posts then you can add a link in your signature.

Hi Chris - that's funny. In my line of work (shipping & forwarding) I spend most of my time helping people move their stuff from the UK to Australia and other far flung corners of the (former) empire!
