I started my oldest blog, the Betsyanne/Moon and Willow Tree blog, in 2005. The next oldest one was begun in 2006. So... they are 4 and 3 years old, respectively.

I started my other 2 blogs in 2008 and 2009 (Cheap and Free Stuff (BG, KY) and the Scholarships and Grants blog).

Been blogging since about 2002. At first it was a personal blog where I wrote about all of the weird things that were going on in my life that actually had a somewhat cult following in my home city, mainly due to the nature of stories and the familiarity of the setting.

After doing that for several years I started writing for various video game websites. It started out as freelance work and after some practice I was taken on as a news editor at a fairly prominent site. That's where I really learned the most about being a well-rounded blogger.

Now I do my own thing with a friend of mine (link below in my signature) but it's a little different than anything I've ever done. Instead of writing as a professional, we're trying to write like a person that doesn't really fit the norm of a blogger (or even a regular computer user) and surprisingly we've been really successful so far. It seems to have really appealed to people who don't like the bloggers that have put themselves on pedestals with their "respected" and "mature" writing styles.

We've (my wife and I) just started our blog this month. Though I've participated in social blogging sites (i.e. myspace, open diary), I never had a niche to write about before, it's very satisfying to write about the things that matter most in my life, my kids.
