Home with the Flu - Swine Flu!?

Yep, I'm sick as a dog and bed ridden with the "flu". Doctor said if it's not gone in ~72 hours come in to make sure it's not the Swine Flu.

How lame is that!?

I'd be on my laptop but Vista has given me an error that says "Can't start, you're screwed".

I certainly hope it isn't the swine flu, and I wish you luck with your laptop.

For best results I suggest that you replace it with a mac.

@Nathan: I just bought one of the new Macbook's for christmas and yes I certainly do recommend them. I have both Windows and Mac softwares on it and am happy with it

Sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather. My little boy had swine flu a couple of weeks ago. He was ill for about three or four days. Had a very high temperature one minute then feeling cold the next. He was very chesty and short of breath which was a bit scary but he gor prescribed Tamiflu and was OK after that. By the way the Tamiflu tablets taste awful if you have to take them! Anyway it only took a couple of days and he was back to his normal mischievious self!

Buying a Mac is one decision that I will never regret. I never have to worry about breakdowns or security holes. I also find my MacBook to be much more ergonomic and efficient to use than a Windows computer. But then again my earliest computer experiences in school were with old macs, so I guess that is what I got used to right from the start.

To me it just feels so much more natural than a Windows computer. I have used a variety of OS's for many years and Mac OS X is the best, I think.

Anyway, enough about the computer. I'm glad that your boy recovered, Glen. I hope you got over the flu, Rob?
