Default Just got a new router...

I hate D-Link installation.

I spend around 10-11 hours trying to install the thing and I finally got it working. First time on the internet, guess what happens? It disconnects after a few minutes.

There are some good reviews about the D-Link Extreme N 655 router. I'm just glad I managed to get it up and running, because I don't want to send this back to Amazon. I haven't really tested it out on gaming, but I mainly got it for security and a better wireless range.

Yeah, I think that the main thing to be interested in when in comes to the hardware is whether or not it makes security easy. With some of those devices its really hard to set up a secure network because of the way the software for the device works.

Personally I think it is better to stick with Linksys or Netgear. But then again, as an Apple user nothing out there has anything on Apple's Airport base stations, which allow you to hook your laptop up to your TV, a wireless terabyte backup drive, a shared printer, etc, all with the ultimate in plug and play, works the first time wireless connectivity.

If only it was cheaper.
