Tesco sells turtles in China!!

Apparently, TESCO is selling and butchering live turtles in China!! And they also allow their customers to take the turtle home to butcher it alive in any way they wish!

So would you pleaseeee consider signing a petition to persuade Tesco to stop selling turtles in China??

I can't stand cruelty to animals as well. I can't understand how people can't realize or see that animals feel pain too. There are all sorts of morbid characters in this world; it's disgusting a "reputable" chain would endorse and assist in such a thing.

Unfortunately though if I'm not mistaken many animals(for food) are sold live in China?

- Where is the exact link to sign? I went to the petition page and it says up top but I can't find it!!! (I'm sure others are having same problem).

Yes, many exotic animals are being poached and sold and consumed in China, but *that* doesn't give Tesco a right to hack a turtle to death in a supermarket (or a hypermarket). Especially when an endangered animal is involved. Do you want your kids to witness the killing of the turtles (kids usually keep pet turtles) in markets? Do you want to teach your children to eat exotic animals like turtles, pangolins, rhinos??!

You took that the wrong way, I don't think it is right at all. I just signed the petition and wish that NO animals were sold live for butcher whether it be a dog, lobster or turtle! I was merely pointing out that China is notoriously bad for these types of atrocities.

I hope everyone takes a minute and signs this petition. Thanks for bringing it to our attention Pelf.

Yeah, I got it, Rob. I know you didn't think it was right, at least your message did give me *that* impression. I was just trying to make the case stronger by providing some examples =)
