Hey there, everyone! I hope you had a fantabulous holiday. In an effort to give myself some more fodder for my blog, PhilosYphia, I would like to line up some interviews with random people around the intarwebs. Sound interesting? Would you like to participate? Well, read on... The interviews would be conducted via email -- I'd give you a series of questions to answer and you'd write me back something interesting for each of them. There'd probably in the nature of 8-10 questions or so...nothing too terrible. They're probably going to deal with politics, philosophy, or religion, so be warned. These are not going to be boring questions ("what your favorite pet?") nor will they be one-word answers, either ("do you like fish?")...I'm looking for folks that will give me a good paragraph for each question and really think about them a bit. Make me think, make me laugh, make my readers giggle, make them write incendiary commentary -- I don't care. Just make it interesting. You then give me permission to publish this on my blog at whatever time I feel appropriate in my publishing cycle. I won't publish it anywhere else but there. Comments will be open on it and it will be open to search traffic, of course. I may edit your interview for spelling, grammar, and formatting, but will not change the actual text of the answers otherwise. In return, you get to have some fun writing, you get to plug your blog, Facebook account, website, new software project -- whatever you want. I'll have at least one question where you can do all your plugging. I'll even post a picture of you if you like. (or a logo, I could do that, too) I reserve the right to NOT post your interview if I don't think it'll appeal to my users, but unless you're completely boring, do a really crappy job of responding to the questions, or are trying to shill a crap advertising website, I don't see why I wouldn't. I'm looking to interview real people with real blogs or websites because....real people are interesting. And I suspect there are plenty of them here. So...still reading? Still interested? Great! Head on over to my Contact Form and fill it out and choose, "Blog Interview" from the dropdown. If you don't use this form, I might lose your email in the spam flood, so please use this if you're serious! You can feel free to post questions to this forum and I'll answer as best as I can. Thanks tons! |

How many subscribers do you have - or regular readers? This seems like an interesting idea

Very interesting concept, I always said blogging and the internet is our virtual movie seat to the world.. it's was enjoyable reading Sadie's answers and getting to know more about a fellow blogger! I'd be in too!

Thanks again for the opportunity! This was a pleasurable experience, so anyone who's read this and on the fence about it, go ahead, it was fun!

I've got 2 more submitted interviews in editing mode right now -- they'll be posted in spaced-out fashion so as to keep it interesting. Right now, everyone's getting the same questions, but I'll switch that up with the next round to prevent folks from getting bored. This is fun! |
