Which Blogging Location are you most Creative?

I'm sure many of us have laptops. As a result we often use the computer in multiple places around the home / office or elsewhere everyday...

Where do you find you get most of your best work done? What conditions?

I find I get alot of awesome work done late at night or really early in the morning at my computer in my home office with the blinds shut and the door closed.

If I need a boost I try and play some music with a good beat with few or no lyrics. I find it opens my mind and allows me to visualize where I want to be with the project.

I'm always looking for other ideas though so tell me, where and when are you most creative?

I have my laptop on my desk if i get bored i move over and sit in bed - but my laptop gets VERY hot so its not comfy! There were videos a while ago on youtube of people cooking eggs on the back of macbook pros!

Okay, I'm very specific.

I work on my beloved laptop, on the living room couch, with a can of Diet Coke or a glass of grapefruit juice, usually in the evening. And there's always CSI in the backgrounf. Why why do they have so many CSI episods at night ???

AS for writing posts... I often have good (well, I hope there's good !) ideas during the day so I write them down on a piece of paper and write the whole post in the evening, first on Word, then copy it in my blog. I also have a music playlist for these writer's block.

Since I am mobile person spending most of my time away of my home in Poland I resigned of using desktop PC about 1 year ago. My office is always with me - I mean my laptop.

I have 3 blogs and they are quite different. Since I have a big collection of photos I am posting one photo a day on my photoblog. Usually I do it in the morning before I go to work.

As for my Irish blog (Ireland from a Polish Perspective), it is more like collumns, essays on the current issues, so I post only when I have something interesting to say. Sometimes I post in the morning sometimes in the evening, but having laptop gives me opportunity to post almost from every place in Ireland or Poland (I have 3G data cards in Irish and Polish mobile networks).

Usually my laptop is on my desk (both while I am at home in Poland, or I am in Ireland).

At our local park. I go and set by the lake under the trees and use the laptop to write. Then when I get back home or if I find a hotspot I'll upload to my blog. I love the sound of water with a breeze blowing.

Although lately here in Kentucky it has been dry and very very hot...100 degrees plus each day.

I have a laptop, so I prefer to go and sit under a tree in my garden and work with the natural music, wind etc. So I feel so fresh...and new ideas will automatically come in my mind.

Some pretty cool ideas, I am going to have to try the park as well. Another place I dream of is by the ocean. I'd need an umbrella to avoid glare but I think that would be a very awe inspiring place.
