GARBAGE!

It just occured to me that calling Cuil garbage could hurt me one day if they did fix their search engine, gained some market share, and penalized my sites for the lack of faith in them.

But yeah... it's garbage.

They came out with a press release and huge media attention that only highlighted the flaws of their search engine. I think that's too early, from a marketing perspective.

Google isn't immortal. It will be overthrown, either by a superior search engines or the death of web search engines. Only a matter of time.

This is true but Google isn't JUST a search engine.

I do LOVE that search interface though. I wonder if they plan to go the Google route with a host of Webapps...they would look and work great with that interface.
Because they're obviously still updating. I did those searches immediately after the release. I've since gone back and some of their pages that were turning up as "not found" have been fixed and some of their searches are already appearing better.......but they never should've shown up as nothing in the first place, especially with such simple searches.
