404 Error...

I think that blogging makes you more patient and more sociable. I dunno about smarter though. I suppose if you mean in terms of "practical" smarts.

I read an article in the age a while back. Supossedly it trains us to synthesise information in new ways and makes us happier because we have a network.

considering that if it were not for our blogs we would not be researching articles, reading and writing more in general, I'd say yes, it does. if you were pretty smart to begin with, it probably makes you superhuman, like me.

Link broken.
But I think it probably does. Bloggers - at least the good ones - take the time and effort to research their topic thoroughly, which naturally includes reading lots of background material and improving their own understanding. Writing regularly also improves your style of delivery - it just becomes slicker and more professional with practice.

I gain new info each day. Bloggeries are educating the masses. But then again sometimes I read a blog and feel dumber when I am through than before I started reading. LOL

It makes me feel smarter. I just have to spell check before I post. If I don't then it goes the other way.

not sure about smarter, but definitely makes a person more knowledgable, and supposedly with knowledge one becomes more----confident of themselves---As an old person, I find blogging keeps me alert and on my toes and competitive with the younguns's.
