$15,000 for 9 months works out to about $10/hour if you work 40 hours a week.
At closing of the sale, they should have said "want fries with that?" |

but what if he only averaged 10 hours per week?

@ EE, I spend less than an hour a day on my blog, using half that (20 min writing posts, the rest for emails and such).

The time spent isn't really relevant. I'm just using the 40 hours a week as a comparison.
Everyone is talking about how amazing 5 figures is, but in reality, over 9 months, it is like having a low end job. Most people could have taken a part time job and earned as much or more. I'm sure he had another job in the meantime so the money is on top of whatever else he made, but it isn't like this some major M&A activity. |

Although it's sad to see him sell his site... I started my blog as sort of an experiment (one without a time constraint but with a dollar goal) and then I later discovered the blogging experiment. Now maybe I have more of a chance to stand out
