Wow, after 4 months still no one has reached a 1,000 posts we need to do something about that one. I will start trying to make sure that I spend more time on here since I have made a committment to blogging. And the lord knows I need help increasing traffic. I only get about 10-12 uniques a day.

I've started visiting here most days (every day I'm online) and have increased the amount I post as well.

Well I didn't see any need in flooding the forum just to reach the mark. It's better to get there naturally than to do it artificially simply to "win" and then it not really benefit anyone. I posted 100+ posts on another forum, two days in a row, while still taking care of other things. I could easily do the same here, but there's no reason for it. We'll all get there eventually.

Jessi has a point; posting for the sake of of posting... Nobody wins. The admin gets tones of useless posts and the poster just looks spammy.

Also; if you want to make $25 there are much better ways then making 1000 posts. It's just like a reward for the dedication to finally get there. Once you make 1000 posts or are around there you're already experiencing benefits anyways.

Definitely not; just go to DP for an idea of spammy post padding. I've always tried to throw my $0.02 into any thread I read. I mean I read it why not?

Exactly. I could certainly go do something else to get $25, but if I'm going to be benefiting from this site anyway, then this is simply the cherry on top.

Or strawberry. I don't like cherries.
