I agree about Digg. I submitted a story, on what to look out for when purchasing a foreclosed property, that got fairly popular and recieved over 100 diggs which is pretty good for a real estate article. Digg has so many spammers in that category you can get a well intentioned article buried in a hurry. Anyways back to my point, I recieved about 150 visits to my blog from that post and then the visits slowed and so did the new Diggs and in less than three weeks it was gone. No more traffic left. I think that is why posting to forums and guest blogging is more valueable as it continues to recieve visits.

Feels great to get recognized by such an established and authoritative blog / site on the net. I found it when I looked at my stats and saw a flood of new visitors. If only all days could be like this!

I took the time to read the blog entry that you noted in this thread. I came across the ninth entry of the list and have some questions I would like answered.

8. Globe of Blogs has too many features to list. In order to be listed on the site, the blog must not be commercial. The site may appear to be busy, but I like the features of being able to search by title, author, or subject. Narrowing the search becomes easier on this blog.

I would like to know what most bloggers on the web consider a commercial blog. I have seen this same exemption before and wondered at that time what constituted a commercial blog. I was hoping that I could get an answer on this here since the forum is all about blogs.

I consider a commercial blog one that is build primarily for selling or one that is from a major commercial enterprise. It's expected that EVERYONE will try and sell SOMETHING on their blog
