 Will Allowing Pings Hurt My Adsense Money?
Hi, I've had my blog for about 4 months and made $125 on Adsense the past month which I'm happy with. What I'd appreciate help on and I'm glad I found this forum, this is my first post, is if I'll lose Adsense money by allowing other blogs to ping my blog which I've been doing. I only approve the pings where I see a link for my complete blog post on their site. Any advice on this will be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty good at figuring out the obvious spammers like insurance and casino stuff and the ones that leave the same short 1 sentence messages but am allowing the others. It does NOT affect your earnings. Essentially when someone pings your site, you're getting a backlink from theirs and vice versa. Though, I wouldn't accept pings from spam sites... |

Quality pings will actually boost your blogs PR. Just avoid the spam sites and you'll be doing well.
