How do you make money on your blog?

Well I have just started so Im not earning anything, right now. Its a lot more difficult thatn I thought, people must be blind to adsense but now that I think about I don't click on adsense that often. Anyway I am affiliated with Amazon now, so fingers crossed I do alright with them.

About every other post I intend to stick an amazon product listing in the actual post but Im not sure whether to have an image or a text link.

I've played around with these as well. It's fine to pick out a very relevant advert and put it up on you blog, but don't expect to make much from it. The money with these is to build an entire site around an ad and buy traffic to it.

I'm currently using the PPC ad networks ( Google Adsense, AdBrite and Bidvertiser...and WidgetBucks too ). Beside this ones, I promote some websites to which I'm affiliated, such as Script Lance or PPP.

There are some good ideas in here... right now I'm just using adsense and hoping it'll earn me enough to just pay for my blogs hosting. My blog is so new though I still need to attract more traffic to it. I'm only averaging 25 hits a day right now...

Not a bad start. Also think of using affiliate programs. Like Talk about a product that you can sell via an affiliate link give it a review if it will help readers and some will go through. Obviously the more traffic you have the better your odds are. In that regard writing good content and getting visitors should be #1 priority as the best ads in the world can't convert if no one comes...

I use Google AdSense & WidgetBucks. I just started recently and the signs are very encouraging.
