Default Re: Become a PayPerPost Affiliate!

Well I have to say that I am a bit disappointed with PayPerPost at this point. My first post was the 23rd of Oct, as I pointed out in my first post here and now it is 15 days later and still not a response.

I have not been accepted or rejected but the post is on my site attracting traffic. I don't think they have it all together at PPP, perhaps they need to hire more staff to approve these posts.

I sent PayPerPost a support ticket about the lack of attention and said I felt the need to remove those 5 posts I have that have never been checked yet.

When I submitted the ticket a message was displayed saying I was 172 on the support waiting list. Just to get a question answered.

I am still leaving the posts up and my affiliate link to PPP for another day or two so they have a chance to respond but I certainly am not going to hold my breath.

Just so you know, it takes 30 days for a post to be accepted and paid for. EXACTLY 30 days unless you are auto-approved. That's why it's important to do opps everyday--when the payments start coming in they don't stop if you were doing opps every day.

Default Try using a blog network to promote your product, service or site.

The voices of bloggers are powerful. If you've got a product, service or website you would like to try promoting with blogs the please send me a PM. I've created some promotional codes valued at $100, for use in the PayPerPost marketplace.

There are only a handful of codes to distribute, and they are only valid for a limited time.

Bloggermann - I've never used it either and after the latest Google Crackdown on paid blog posting... I'd be extremely weary. Is it worth losing PR which is part of the equation google uses when determining search engine results for a few $$$ for a post which may or may not benefit your reader base?? I'd say definitely not.

That is not to say PPP and other programs like that definitely had something to do with it but lots of signs point that way.

Rep added for true common sense; cunamis - I'd consider yourself lucky for getting rejected... Consider it a blessing.

Take a look at http://www.bloggeries.com/forum/news...-blogging.html and check the links in it.

Google gave you the PR; if you sell it you are messing with THEIR index. Kinda like biting the hand that feeds you.

i have been penalized by google for wrting paid posts. my blog rank goes to 0 from 3 in the recent pr update.
But i must say that PPP is awesome. I was approved by PPP in Sep and have been paid $10 for a post and $15 for one referral. Now I have 10 more pending refs. I hope these refs will soon post their first post.

Cowboytf - don't lose hope, you will get rewards for recruting bloggers.

After Google started to penalize paid posting. It will be stupid to continue.
But hey if you don't care about your pagerank...
