What's the point of non-quality traffic? There's really no point except to make your stats look good... and if someone wanted 1000 hits within the hour, SU could simply do that for you. Shoot, Entrecard can do the same too but it's not quality traffic... just taking up bandwidth on your hosting server. |

I agree. I look for real traffic, search engine traffic and subscribers. That's traffic that will click ads and come back again and again. However, Entrecard traffic can help you somewhat when you are just starting out. Now I maintain it just for the extra statistics.

Fake traffic isn't "real" to me... The only reason I use EntreCard and 125 is because I'm hoping people will see my blog and want to come back.

Again, fake traffic sucks, and SEO'ers prey on this (**plug** talk about it in my latest blog post). The company which I work with actually od say that traffic can go down after an SEO campaign. However, sales can (and often do) go up. Which would you rather have, more people viewing your website, or more money?

I'd take 1000 highly targeted visitors then 10,000 'spam visitors' any day. More then likely I know them already they are returing visitors and might even have subscribed to my mini-course...so more likely to buy and triggered.

I agree. Targeted visitors are more important than spam visitors, but even spam visitors can sometimes like your site and become subscribers and targeted visitors. My general take on traffic is that the more, the better.
