Suggest creating the same or different Adsense ads but each one uses a different 'channel' (e.g. 'Middle of Article' vs 'End of Article' vs 'Upper Right Column' vs 'Lower Left Column') to identify exactly where each ad has been located by you.

Then, after 'a while' you will be able to tell which ads attracted (A) the most clicks and (B) greatest revenue per click.

You could even, not that I have but I have thought about it, create different 'channels' for the different articles topics to see which topics bring in more clicks and revenus. In my case it could be one channel for Energy Conservation vs a different channel for Bathroom Renovation vs yet one for Kitchen Renovation.

Does that help?

After reading this I decided to change my ads up. I haven't received any clicks so far. So hopefully it will help. I can only go up from here

best location for ads is eitherr the top middle (under your blog header) or in the upper right hand corner of your side bar. anything too far down the side bar most likely won't ever been seen as most viewers only look at the top posting of a blog and then move on.

Does anyone know if having a higher Google Page Rank means you will receive more of the higher paying PPC Adsense ads?

I guy can dream, can't he?

Just curious.

I can't say one way or another over what ads are run on pages versus page rankings. It would however makes sense to use your better ads on those pages with higher readership, so it might well be true, that is what determines what ads play where.---my effort is to continue to grow my blog readership and the ads will do what they do.

placement of your ad spaces is important, but even more important is the level of traffic your blog attracts. Obviously the larger the traffic flow, the larger income from ads will be generated----also important as Bloggeries Rob has stated above---making efficient use of "keywords" also makes a big difference in one's income flow. My question is---how does one find the keywords??
