One cent a day.

Hi from South Africa,
I blog with 3 lots of Adsense ads. Sometimes I make 1 cent a day. Any tricks to improve this for me?

My blog is Alcoholism-A Life Sentence. It is a health blog and afeter 2 months I get 1000 page views a month.

How much search engine traffic do you get? I find that helps adsense revenue.

To boost it, think of a topic that isn't so widely covered and search to see hoe many other people have written on it. If there's not many, make a post about it.

My main suggestion would be to get your actual content up higher on the page, up "above the fold" where people can see it. I suspect that people may be "blind" to the ads on your page because there are so many of them, and that's almost all that anyone will see in the browser window without scrolling down. Take a look at Google's help files for the "heat map" of suggested ad placement locations, too. Right now, though, I really feel the main problem is that you've got too many ads all competing with each other and with your content - and visitors are probably clicking off to another site too fast to really see any of the ads.

Use lesser number of ads and reposition it until you get the best revenue. I have redesigned mine multiple times and found a final position of my adsense ads on a sidebar.

Nature of the blog means low click value, also positioning is pure overkill, look in a 800*600 perspective and you will see what the above posters are trying to tell you.

Bring your adsense within the content, this will improve targeting and also encourage click through if positioned at jump off points.
