There are a TON of ways to make money with a blog. If you type in "make money blogging" on Google you will find a million resources. Adsense places ads on your site based on the information you put on your blog. IF you blog about cars, adsense posts ads about car parts, custom cars, dealerships, etc. When someone clicks on one of the those ads, you will get paid a certain amount for "hosting" the ad. The trick is to keep the content of your blog consistent to keep high paying ads on your site. OF course you should read Google TOS and FAQ to get a way better explaination than mine Good luck.

Just one tip - if you are serious about making money through an affiliate system such as clickbank or commission junction, then don't have Google ads on your site at the same time. I know opinion about this differ, and I do have adsense ads on some of my sites as well but in the long term, you detract from your potential affiliate earnings by having adsense ads. But adsense is definitely the easiest way to get started Last edited by greenmamba; August 17th, 2008 at 10:55 AM.. |

So, I am back. Well, you have used the sidebar horribly. First, get some good template. Many free ones are available at finalsense.com Second, do not place ads at the bottom. No one will ever reach there! Use a three column design. My blog is a good example: Blog of an Unorthodox Loyalist Next, place ads where te focus will be maximum. Do not experiment too much. Just Stick to one or two ad networks. Adsense is good one to start with. Just make sure that ads blend with your template. Also, reduce the length of page. 1 or 2 latest posts ae enough. This will give you space at the bottom. Most Important: Do not use too much ads. One or Two well placed ads are enough. Anyway. Visit my Blog: Blog of an Unorthodox Loyalist |
