Default Blogging Resume?

Has anyone had to write a resume about their blogging? What type of info would you include? I'm stumped with this one!

Thanks!

Default Re: Blogging Resume?

I haven't had to write a resume specific to blogging, but I would think they are much the same as other resumes.

If I were trying to get a "blogging job" I would include all of my work experience but focus more heavily on my writing experience.

Here is a great quote from an article I fouind about preparing resumes Career Blog: Resume Tips

Quote:
Give them what they want. Make sure the reader can find what he or she is looking for easily.
Be relevant.
Target your reader. Depending on whether the reader is a recruiter, and HR folk, or a hiring manager, you may have to use different approaches.
Use bullets.
Highlight your strengths.
Demonstrate results. Use numbers, %, and $.
Be concise.
Don't save the best for last. Highlight your accomplishments upfront.
Connect the dots. Make it easy for the reader to see how your qualifications fit what he or she is looking for.

I would also include any skills or experience related to SEO, blog promotion, social networking, etc.... because blogging involves a whole complex set of skills (including self-directed work and time management!) as well as writing.

Thank you both for your valuable information! I'll be working on my "blog resume" with the help you provided.
