Will Google Combat Against Text Link Ads ?

Google Adsense is probably the largest advertising program on internet. However, I worried whether Google will take any concrete action on those who put Text Link ads and Google ads concurrently? Will page rank be affected? Or is it just a rumour?

Yes, if you use Text Link Ads, you will be penalized with Google with a decrease of Pagerank and possibly other things...

who told you this ,there is nothing link that you can add links ads but be careful your visitor might find it awkward/

*chuckle* .. I love it when people speak with such authority about things they have no control over.

I have a number of sites running TLA, some got penalised, some didn't. I don't believe TLA were the deciding factor.

A lot of TLA sites & PPP got hit in the beginning of last year I believe. Basically if you run a site and sell text link ads you are putting yourself open to loosing your rank or the ability to pass it.

I would say it is simply not worth it.

I've got a PR 5 site running TLA with no problem, but I run very few ads and screen them pretty well. I don't think I'm on Google's radar, and if I were a small website I wouldn't be afraid to try to make a little extra money with TLA.

Google seem dont like those link selling related site such as TLA and PPP (PPP request to put the sponsor link). Negative impact on the PR if they found you are doing this in your website
