eBay Partner Network - Viable Income Stream for Blogs?

Hi All,

This morning I just signed up for this affiliate type of network to see how it would go.

Our site isn't about selling stuff and the Google affiliate ad I had tried for a while generated zero.

However, I was wondering if anyone was starting to use this and if so what your results have been?

It appeals to my site and to me for a few reasons, including:

• significant freedom re the ad widget size, placement, color scheme which I have tailored to that of my site [brown/green/blue]
• freedom for key word(s) relevancy
• freedom for eBay category(s) / sub-category(s) specific listing
• freedom for Buy Now only items
• all of the above has let me tailor the two separate widgets I am currently using to they do not take over my site and lets my site still focus on information sharing on the topics I am passionate about

I use phpbay on a blog, it's a pretty nice plugin. I use it to setup a memorabilia page, and it's quite easy to blend auctions in with your content post/or pages, and there is a feature to mask the ebay urls for the auctions and the auctions pictures the urls end up being yourdomain.com/auction.php

Earnings wise I have only been using the plugin a little while so the earnings haven't been much.

I'm buddies with the plugins author real nice guy, goes out of his way to help his users.
