Who is Using AdBrite on Blogs?

I investigated adbrite today. Seems like publishers have alot of control. You can state the price of your link space and people can bid on it in a marketplace depending on content categories, keywords, demographics or geography. What's cool for publishers is that until you fill your space people visiting your site / blog can actually click on it to apply to see if you are interested. Also you can review all ads before they go live to see if they meet your criteria.

If anyone here is using it please tell us about it here; I'm interested but there are alot substitutes for adsense so I'm trying to weigh all my options before just rushing in on one. (For a change...)

I use Adbrite on a few of my sites but overall they dont bring in as much as YPN or adsense.

Thanks, that's good to know. From what I understand the people who are having success with adbrite are those that have adult content. I'm assuming they say this service is best as they are not allowed to participate in some of the other larger ones. Have you tried any PPC?

I used it on one of my wallpaper blogs and no ads were running on it so it wasn't profitable. Maybe it was simply because I used a square ad box.. I may have had more luck opting for a 468by60 banner.

I have used Adbrite in the past and didn't have success with it. I can remember logging in to my account and seeing 3 cents once!

i used adbrite on my forum with little success. i tried one time to display adult ads, and during that period i had several advertisers... but since i was not running an adult forum i gave up on adbrite....

Yeah, I think adbrite is one of my lowest paying ads... I think I already took them off.

I tried them and they were ok but they are not worth it because they only pay by check and it would take ages to get them to the UK.

i use adbrite and it doesnt pay me great. Mubin Ahmed uses it on his site, and he does very well with it.
