No, I'm not talking about Twitter (as much as I'm enjoying it). I'm talking about the "$5 a week blogs" that were all the rage about a month ago. There's a reason they didn't pop up all over the place: They're just too hard to keep up, and pay for, and keep profitable.
I think I've fixed this, with the discovery of
Nearly Free Speech.Net. They offer great prices, and are perfect for this kind of a setup. I did a whole blog post on it today, on the theory behind my newest campaign to make money online, and how I plan to go about doing it. Check out
Websites from your Pocket Change.
If you don't feel like reading through it all, here's the gist of it: NSF.N does $8 domain registrations, and you pay for your bandwidth as you go, no packages. In other words, if you aren't getting hits, you aren't getting charged. This means you're almost assured to make a profit, no matter how many or how few hits you get. My post talks about that, and my goal to register (and create a website for) a new Domain every single week, at a cost of about a dollar a day.
