Wordpress and cold hard cash

Is there any way to earn money with wordpress? I know that you can not use and java script or forms on wordpress (which has it's burdens beyond just making money) so adsense is out of the question.

do you have to sign up for the paying membership to get a blog that has the potential to generate a check?

If you can not use Wordpress, does anyone know of a free blog host that will allow adsense?

Or any other info on the subject.

Not really. Some people have success with blogspot, but its a lot better to go out and make the investment in some hosting of your own. I'm going to make a guess here and say that the reason you don't want to make that investment is because you can't get a credit card, for whatever reason that may be. You can usually go down to a Walmart, or even a lot of gas stations, and pick up a $20 pre-paid Visa card. You'll be able to use it just like any other credit card, without having to give out any real information about yourself. Look around a bit, and you can get a couple of months hosting and the name for well under $20.

I do have a credit card and that has nothing to do with it. I just don't want to pay for a site that I do not not whether or not it will make money.
