Blogspot and making money

I have just signed up for a blogspot blog. Is there any limit on what is allowed on here in terms of making money? Adsense is simple to add and is already on there.

Is there any limit and can anyone recommend any places to start?

If you are serious about making money. Get a domain and wordpress.org blog. It will only help you in the long run. If you get your blog going and then try and switch to a domain and wordpress, it'll be a headache.

Also, with blogspot the money potential is there, but the intergration can be limited.

Definitely agree with Suko and Tuk.

As someone who pays for advertising I'll never pay on a blogspot. Well I would if it was outstanding but... Seriously if you want to be taken serious you have to make the investment. $8 for a domain and than 5-10 a month should be easy to maintain.

There are blogs who do make hansome incomes from blogspot blogs. However the ones that do do so because they have a unique content (a TV show atm in the UK is "Belle Du Jour", which is based on a blogspot blog - it's written by a London call girl). Baiscally, if you want to make money frm advertiising etc, and treat your blog as a business, then get a domain name and hosting.

I have made more money with my Blogspot blog than my Wordpress blog. I have a seasonal blog that people search Google for images for. Then they click through to my blog and make a purchase through one of my affiliate links. Google hosts your images on Blogger which helps bring traffic. Plus Google owns it which should naturally help your rank in the search engines.

Hi, there is no limit but adding ads at the starting is not at all recommended coz visitors dont like your blog if you are not getting good traffic and using more ads.

hi, really to say, I could not get much useful content from him. There are many blogs which are worth more than him but he is a guy who can try new methods to get visits to his blog and make purchases through him.
