John Chow makes money telling people how he makes money... You are not John Chow so his techniques aren't necessarily going to work for everyone. He does have some basic good advice in his EBoook. A friend downloaded it. You'd be better reading blogs of people who aren't necessarily A-List but earn lot's of money without having the name John Chow. His most important asset is the name.

It seems like a lot of the posts over there are quite obviosuly making him money from reviews. I think I saw somewhere on there where he was making over $500 per review.

Kind of makes it hard to believe that there are so many "good" products out there.

i only use blogger at the moment and dont find it a problem

my adsense has started moving again and im getting click on my affiliate links (although no buys yet) but i do agree with the others. if you want to sell ads etc ontheir you need a domain and hosting (i do have one of these buts its not developed at all)

i think blogspot is a good start when you have no idea what you are doing...learn from mistake there and you could move on to another domain in the future

i think,using blogspot...to making money isnotlimitedbybloger.But maybe there is limitation on sum of the spam link in the lay out of the blog,especially in footer.

Blogger is good for experiments on seo, affiliates and so on.

Some of my favorite bloggers are on blogspot. I know a few of them make a living from blogging. It seems like they make money by asking for donations though paypal or writing for various online sources and not just advertising. I don't think blogspot is the best place for making money via ads, but you can do it. You really don't get much control on a blogspot blog, so the ability to make money is lower in comparison to having your own domain.

You can make money but then you have to put in some extra efforts to cover the label of "FREE HOST" !

Thanks everyone, does anyone know if pay per post, or an alternative take on blog spot blogs for paid post or reviews. Any sites that are willing will be helpful.
