Hiding Google Adsense Ads on Your Blog?

As one of my blogs deals with Adsense, and yet I have adsense on the blog you can imagine that it does not have a very high CTR. I am sure that I have been smart priced as well.

I could remove the Adsense ads from my blog, but then people "cry" about how a blog with adsense should have adsense on it.

I would have to disagree with that, but my readers keep hounding me to put adsense back on my blog. So I do it!

Most people that come to my blog from direct links will not click my adsense ads, but people that come from the search engines will. I have always been trying to find a way to "hide" my ads from regular readers and only show to search engine traffic. I imagine that this strategy will only be effective on certain types of blogs (like mine).

I made a post about the plugin I used and made a video showing how my blog looks different depending on how you arrive on the blog. I am hoping that using this plugin will help bring my CTR back to the 5% range.

Thats a great plugin, I'm a huge fan of it. You can also tie it in with the authors IP plugin to show Yahoo ads to US traffic and Google ads to international visitors.

It's quite a powerful plugin. I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do. This may be the first plugin that I use where I actually donate to the creator.

I am planning on creating a second video along the same lines that shows what I do when people do not come from search engines...

I just have to figure out what I will do with the traffic that does not come from the search engines.
