Where to Find Advertisers for your blog!

Where do you guys go to find your advertisers? I know a lot of people use middleman companies like PW, Adtoll, etc, but they usually take a percentage of your money.

I get too many advertising requests, lol... had to turn down three paid reviews because I didn't want to piss my readers off, and just added two more advertising slots to cope with the list.

As long as you build up a solid looking (the way your blog looks is everything) blog with a decent level of discussion, they'll be queuing up.

Yeah, sorry about that everyone. I was in process of switching to WP and a new hosting so my site was down for a day or two. But now it's back up and running... hopefully you guys will check out the article and new look to DatMoney.com

A good place would be posting an add about what your company has to offer in our advertising section. Hopefully that will bring in some bites. Many people just read the classifieds. List what you have and what spots you have available. Also do that in other forums of similar nature.

How much traffic are your other ads seeing?

Not sure of exact numbers but I'm working on building that. If people start posting what they have available or what they want it will pick up. Many lurkers will only read for advice but will signup if they can offer a good or service being looked for. I'd like to eventually make the classifieds a large free place for bloggers to find suppliers and customers alike.

I think I mis-read your first post.....I thought you were promoting one of your services and not a thread/section of this blog. I'll check that area out.
