Question A couple of questions about Project Wonderful

I read over the PW thread here, but I still have a couple of questions...

--Can I use this along with Spottt and Entrecard and Adsense? I'm assuming so, but you know what they say about people who assume things...

--My blog doesn't get tons of traffic yet. Heck, who am I kidding--I'm just trying to get it off the ground, I just started a few weeks ago. LOL Is it worth putting up a PW spot, do you think?

I'm not trying to overrun my blog with ads--if you look at it, you will see that the ads I have so far are spaced out rather widely. I don't think I have too large of a proportion of ads to content, and I could add in another ad spot ok. But the question is, will I benefit from it at all? Opinions, anyone?

TIA!

Michelle

I was wondering the same thing. Hopefully someone has used this service enough to clue us in on some of the finer points.

Yes, you can run it with other ad networks. And you will still gain little money even with a low-traffic website.

Yes, you can put it on the same site with other ads. But you can put it on your page and get very minimum money if you don't have a lot of traffic.

But you might as well just put Adsense instead...

Yeah I see no reason for them to conflict with each others TOS's. Although I have not seen splotts.

No reason why not, just remember entrecard and splott are for you to generate traffic with, as well as allow others to advertise for 'free'. Whereas PW advertisers are looking for value for money placement as it is going to cost them money. Therefore your traffic and placement will effect your return. So think wisely and experiment with it.

Best of luck,
Martyn

Thanks for the replies--they make sense. I guess I hadn't really straightened it out in my head very well...there's just so much to think about when trying to get started with a blog...much more than I ever realized!

Yeah, don't expect big bucks, but it's definitely more for advertisers than publishers IMHO

get a spot on your blog up right away so that it can start to count traffic. some advertisers will search by traffic stats and the longer you wait the slower the advertisers will be to find you. Good luck and stick with it.

Project Wonderful if you're a small blog (<50 unique visitors per day) Adsense ifyou're a bigger blog (>100 unique visitors per day), both if you're inbetween.
