I think the main thing is make sure you are doing something you are interested in and not for the pure benefit of making money. This way the money side is a benefit and you have another reason to keep going if it doesn't happen straight away.

A lot of the blogs will become stagnant and fade away, you need to work hard and put in the effort over time and it can pay off.

I couldn't agree more. Make it "autotelic" if just writing bloggeries is the goal in itself you are opt to make money in short or long run. If not you'll burn out before ever seeing a dime probably.

It's just like porn. Porn takes up a majority of the internet's traffic and there's SSSSSSSSOOOOOOO many porn sites (um, not like I know or anything lol) out there, how do they ALL make money? It's the same thing... though, I wouldn't suggest going into the "make money online" niche because it sucks lol...

The irony is if you go into the make money online business you'll be telling people about how they can make money making niche blogs about rare topics with high paying keywords albeit click or commissions then quite possibly watch them make more then you. :lurk-2:

to be able to earn through your is really a serious work. the most important thing about blogging is that you love what you are doing, you blog about your interest in that way you can give your readers quality contents, people will start to recognize you and your work, you will gain regular readers and then you will start earning. the best part of it is you are earning while doing the thing you love.

I am kinda wishing I used something described above like nichebot. As long as I have a great blogsite under my belt, however, I need to focus more on posting often in order to increase my pull. Some good advice in here, definitely take some of it with a grain of salt though, you can always make your own niche with some good work put in

blog can bring a great income if you are into affiliate marketing, once u establish ur blog, and get a decent amount of daily readers u can easily "review" ur affiliated products and make sales. i do it a lot with reviewing various hosting companies, and get paid per sign up.
