As far as I know google ads take there "context" from the entire page. So I don't think its relative position within a paragraph will make a difference.

As far as I know, the Adsense engine crawls your entire page before generating the appropriate links. So I really don't think it matters what size ad you use or even where you put the add. I believe it is all relative to what is on that particular page that decides which ads Google will display.

The Adsense Code: What Google Never ... - Google Book Search In a nutshell, it seems to think that the most important text to put on the page is BELOW the adsense ad. Earlier in the book too it also talks about google looking at the content across your entire site to help influence what ads display. It also seems to mention that placement on the page (above or below the fold) can influence the pay rate per click. Hope that book link helps! Tim |

I agree. Without testing it by moving it around from place to place, it's been my experience that based on the overall content of the page ends up with the same ads regardless of where they are placed.
