Agreed with the time requirements. What do you mean by update days?

Its mainly seen with webcomics with a M-W-F updating schedule. The people behind PW did a study, and apparently there are a number of advertisers who will only advertise on a webcomic on an day when an update is scheduled. If you keep to a regular schedule, there are very clear ups and downs of your traffic, and if an advertiser can pick that out, and set to only advertise when you're getting a traffic spike on update days, they jump at it, and will usually bid more than if you got constant traffic.

For example: lets take two bloggers. One updates every day, and gets 10 hits a day. The other only updates Monday and Wednesday, and on the days he updates gets 25 hits each day. On off days, he only gets 4 hits a day. Both have an average of 10 hits a day, but since the second one, with his set schedule has those spikes, the advertisers will pay extra, and will most likely be making considerably more (Albiet, it may be a difference of $0.10 on Monday and Wednesday, and $0.02 the rest of the week, versus $0.04 every day, meaning only a difference of $0.02, but on a larger scale it adds up).

Say no more I hadn't looked that deep into them as any large scale thing I did was via campaign which to the best of my knowledge you can't program to react to variables like that. I'm definitely going to look at that for any manual ones I do of substantial cost.

Thanks,

Their campaigns won't. I'm seriously considering making my own API for it though.

They've got a new feature that lets you do just certain days of the week, which is nice.
