Default Facebook Advertising

Ads | Facebook

Has anyone used Facebook Advertising and if so how was it?

I like how when you enter your info it quickly lists the size of your market. I'm going to be using it soon was about to but I don't have a credit card for my business so I need to get on that!

I would like to come up with an idea for a facebook application and really make some cash.

But to answer your question: No I have not tried facebook ads yet.

Good luck

I haven't used it personally, but you might want to talk to Sara over at TBE. I've noticed a few new members have found the forum because of the Facebook ad and there was a thread about Facebook advertising at one point.

It's certainly a large group of addicted people, so you may find great success there....if you can get them to leave Facebook for two seconds in the first place, that is, heh.

Putting together applications doesn't seem to be extremely difficult, I have been fooling around with the dev tools this week.

Actually I added an html box to my profile and posted some affiliate amazon links and a virgin affiliate banner but to no result, however my method would have relied upon a number of people looking at my profile lol. I still think Facebook advertising will take off.

That's what an associate of mine said. I have what I believe 2 really good ideas. Another thing... Just because one is done..> WHO CARES. How many blogs about making money are there... It's all marketing once it's done and of course building a better or equally good mouse trap...

Yeah I'm not sure I want all my friends looking at my blogs though and possibly insulting the idea, if you know what I mean.

I know what you're saying and thats why I don't even have a link to my site on my facebook account profile page. But if you pay as an advertiser it will only appear on users who have certain demographics and keywords. Pretty cool!

I actually set it all up then had it log under i have an account.... I'd recommend making a NEW facebook advertising account. It's like a trojan horse of information gathering. I like it for it's usability but that's about it. Nothing like sending a message saying I'm coming to down such and such and seeing whats new and if your friends will be around.

Facebook is the one advertisign methof I have actually considered putting money into- there's several networks for vets and vet students there, but the best time for that owuld be around exams, when everybody's procrastinating on facebook.
