I think it is about traffic and patience. Once again, most business propositions don't pay out until at least a year into the process. I am happy if I make my dollar a day initially, then by the end of the year $2 a day.

Forward old blog to the new one and make sure your readers know by mentioning that you want to do it, then mention when you're about to etc... Well worth it and sooner better IMO.

At the Kiwi pulse, how much paid advertising do you do on external sites? Whats the ratio of true organic google search clicks vs. clicks on a paid ad vs. clicks on a free ad (comment on another blog, entrecard, etc). I'm always curious about the blogs with a lot of traffic, and whether they pay through the nose for advertising, or how exactly they do it.

Adsense is hard to earn, you have to make your reader read your content and see the advertising as a "plugin" to your content.
