He gets it from ads; here is 1 example; if you want a background and all banners for your say TV show; $40,000US a day.... He makes big big big bank but also gets millions and millions of uniques.

I make about $300 per month now, but the earning is from several blogs.. So it's a lot of work.

My goal now is to double it, hopefully soon.

I find it hard to be driven purely by money like this, I feel like content ultimately suffers. You can say that John Chow etc prove me wrong, but to be honest they only perform so well because they have a HUGE audience of people desperate to make money at any cost. Whilst they may succeed, they're kind of bringing down the quality of the blogosphere as people give up writing content that interests them to try and make a quick buck...

Make money online is just a question of time. To make money you need to drive a lot of traffics. Which you can't realize in 2 days, it takes time and effort. John Chow is lucky because he is one of the pioneer on the blogsphere. You can't compete with him because he have more experience and maturity in the blog area. If you are serious in blogging and want to make extra money you will surely reach your goal. Find your niche and people will associate you with that niche! :P

John Chow's content is not good at all. Read the posts, it's a journal of himself making money. BUT people read it and when you have a lot of traffic and market yourself well, it all comes around.

Just stick with it, don't get hypnotized by the stories of overnight riches, those guys work their butts off too, you only heard about AFTER all the hard work.
