If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. There's no way advertisers would be willing to pay unless it was guaranteed their sound was heard, which is obviously not the case.

Also, agree with the few people - if I go to a normal site and I hear sound without suspecting it (especially some idiot advertising viagara or forex) I'm not coming back till it goes.

I still don't have any sound playing on my blogs. I think they've bitten off more than they can chew.

Pay Per Play ads will die a fast death.

It sounds like a great concept but I really doubt it will fly.

Fraudulent impressions (ie: bot generated hits to a website instead real visitors) plus the lack of participation of quality websites will cause advertisers to pull out in droves.

Pay Per Play will be dead before the end of the year.

I heard two playing on my 'Other' blog today. One for payperplay itself, one for some New Mexico Senator (I'm in Australia, why the **** would I care?!?).

Now I have to try to remember where in my code I put that payperplay thing. I'm just glad I didn't put it on my better blogs. If the adds aren't going to be relevant, at all, then they're pointless.

I signed up and read through all the info. If I understand correctly then every page of your site can have the code, but if someone enters your site and clicks onto another page then there is a 3 minute period before another add can be served.

I would rather get a quick audio ad then have a bunch of popup, popunder, ect.

Lot's of mixed emotions for sure. I don't mind audio ads as a concept. The issue now is if the company can make this work; get more advertisers; get there stats working better and ultimately start paying people.

Welcome to the forum,
