Google Adsense Refuses to Pay?

Actually it's quite easy to seriously mess with someones adsense program. And the bad thing about is that Google will not reveal any information at all.

All it takes for a site that is up and coming is someone clicking with a vengeance. And its bye bye adsense.

This has probably been covered before but what do you guys reckon to link units as opposed to the normal ads? I also find it odd how the skyscraper is supposed to be good in terms of CTR but I think it looks like an obvious ad, despite blending and those large rectangles don't suit the majority of blogs.
