Project Wonderful - anyone know them?

Hi there,

I recently signed up with Project Wonderful.

Basically, you set up an ad box and buyers bid on it.

Anyway, I'm very confused with how they run their website... first of all, it doesn't display well at all in FF (no graphics and images whatsoever). Then, the FAQ is not very complete... lots of questions refer to other answered questions. Finally, I can't find the place to put a minimum bid!

I like the system in theory so I want to give it a try, but I hope it's not a scam.

Anyone here uses them?

I just cut-and-paste that from their website. as Brian mentioned it looks like a very professional website and I is well would be curious if it works. Have you spoken with anyone else who has used this system before?

With all of the new online advertising companies out there I am always a bit skeptical until someone has actually received a check. I know that it is not the most positive mental attitude to have because I may miss out on an early adopter phase of a project. unfortunately I have seen quite a few fold and therefore am leery.

However in this program reminds me of add bright only with a twist. If you do install it and get it working properly Zhu please let us know and I would be very interested in trying it myself. It loaded up no problem for me and I am using FF.

It looks like a legit site. The advertising rates are certainly attractive, for anyone on the advertising end of things. At least until the site becomes popular enough that the prices are bid up.

My Daily Home Renovations Tips blog is on blogspot.

Don't they have some sort of prohibition in their rules about placing non-Adsense ads on a blog that they are hosting?

Any thoughts / clarity on this?

I emailed the Project Wonderful guys yesterday and they replied almost right away - great!

Turned out that I had Adblock activated, which doesn't agree with their website much. So it wasn't a FF problem. I'm glad they helped me figure things out right away!

When I first signed up, I didn't put a minimum bid (since I couldn't display the website well... it didn't help!). I now found how to do that and I'm now waiting for bidders

I'm quite happy with the fact they replied right away, and I like the system. So I'll keep you guys posted!

(and if anyone wanna bid to be on my blog... you know what you need to do )

Just some news. I'm still with project wonderful and while I'm not making tons of money, it's working just fine, better than Adsense for me.

I am seeing these links ALL over the place. First time was Entrecard.com. They picked them up and I think so many people joined after that, I start seeing them over and over again.

I tried them myself for ONE month and I didnt get any buyers, but I am still trying to work them into my template. Right now my template at sukosaki.info is crowded enough.

Good luck with them, they seem like a great company.

I'd give them another shot when you get your template less crowded; daily more and more are signing up so the number of advertisers out there are growing daily as well. Maybe still too early to forget about it totally
