Where it can be seen easily without detracting from the content. It will all depend on the look of the site i suppose.

I recently had a business lunch with a friend of mine who profit from adsense. the left-hand side is best as the English language is read from left to right.

Also a higher on the page the better.

Nice article!!! I think you should follow those tips for earning easy money online thro' adsense. Even the square blended nicely with the content also pays off well...

That article was really interesting. It had one comment I didn't understand how to do. It said:

"Block low paying advertisers with Filters. Why to loose a visitor for 0.01 cents."

How can one tell how much individual advertisers are paying for their ad's on your blog?

Then how can you use 'filters' with adsense to block the real low paying ones?

I've always wondered about this.

Appreciate your experiences.

I used to have the adds at the bottom of each blog post. I had hoped that each add would be relevant to the post, but they weren't. I switched to a skyscraper in my sidebar, now some of the adds are tempting enough that I want to click them, but I must remember that I'm not allowed. Hopefully it will perform better.

I'm so used to reading blogs with right navigation now that I don't even notice the left side anymore. I even sit angled toward the right.

Currently I'm trying to add an extra sidebar for ads and I can't decide which side to put it on. Oh, well, if people in the know say left is best... And If I don't notice them there, so much the better!

Well, I've been tinkering for a little while and followed a good friend of mine's advice. I put a skyscraper @ the top LHS and it's doubled my daily income.
