Hi, I just set up ad-sense and I've noticed that my CPC is $0.00, which means I won't be getting anything soon. Also, how would I set it up so that I will be paid per view? In my experience, I've never clicked ads, and I don't think anyone else would, either. |

The CPC is an average. If no one has clicked your ads, then obviously the average will be 0. Google Adsense serves both CPC ads and CPM (per view) ads. You can't manually choose it unfortunately. Pretty much, Google's algorithm decides which kind of ad will be most likely to be successful and displays that. In my experience, for every 200 visitors, one will be shown a CPM ad. |

In such a case, I assume that AdSense isn't a good idea for lower-volume or very new sites. In my case, I've had not that many visitors, and so far no clicks on my links. I assume it also involves having more content, as well, which, since my site has only been in operation for a week or two, I've not had the chance to develop.

This is true. I've read that new bloggers shouldn't put ads up until they gain a good number of readers. I obviously haven't followed that suggestion, but if you prefer to choose CPM over CPC, you could try to look for other ad programs.

With low traffic, a lot of earning program also might not work well. Probably you can focus on getting traffic first. You can also sell direct ads after that once you got a decent traffic to your site.
