Is this the right way to make money with Clickbank products??

Hello everyone. I wanted to get your opinion on how to use Clickbank products to make money with your blog. I just created a new clickbank account this morning and was wondering what methods other people are using to generate affiliate revenue with their traffic.

Here's the example.
Hasselbeck book signing

It's a book signing event about Hasselbeck's new book called "G-free Diet". Naturally I picked a couple of Clickbank products relevant to gluten free living and added them at the bottom after the post , under the heading "Recommended for Our Readers".

Is this how you do it or do you use any other techniques for recommending affiliate products? How about above the fold? Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, in that post, you talk a lot about Hasselbeck, her history, her career, her family, and her politics, but I don't see anything at all about the book or gluten-free living, other than the title - in fact, the word "gluten" doesn't appear even once until you get to the products that you're trying to sell, and the word "book" doesn't appear in the post itself, only in the title. I think that the post should at least touch on the topic that the title leads the reader to anticipate.
