That's a great idea. I've heard stories of people liking some but not all of the ads that filter through. Some of the ads are downright offensive to the target market. If people could choose the words they wish to target it would be a popular concept in my opinion.

I hope so. The trouble we are having is with the user interface. That is why we are trying to find so many testers.

The publisher needs to be able to quickly and easily decide what words they want to turn into ads without too much hassle. We think we have some advances in that regard but there is a lot of work to do.

The way we are doing it right now is that we have the publisher just highlight the words they want to turn into ads on their site with their mouse and click a button on our web app that is a tool bar at the top of the page. Do you think such a manual process will work?

So you have to install the toolbar? Some would be hesitant.

Also for highlighting is this from the very page itself? I think it could work if you can deliver targeted traffic. Is there a limit to words one can chose?

From your end: If people keep switching terms or you just get lots of signups it could become quite labor intensive but you'd have to factor that into your price point I guess for % on ads.

We just got an alpha version done last night. Its a web app, instead of a toolbar so you don't need to download anything. Right now it only works for creating in text links to amazon but you'll get the general idea.

Hey Everyone,

I am a little bummed out with my blog's return. Currently, I am using both Google Adsense and Adbrite. I am not seeing any returns with both of these services and I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some input. Currently, have approximately 200 unique per day but they are not converting....

Are there any other services you would recommend instead??
