Default Ad Brite or ad Sense

Are they both the same in terms of gaining revenue or is one better then the other?

if you've read some of my other posts you've prob read that Google originally banned me for trying to use AdSense on a Wordpress blog. Since then i've not been able to get back into my account despite emailing them. So i decided to try Adbrite instead - the only problem is it's in dollars and obviously as I live in the UK this isn't great. Is there a UK version? I've so far earnt $0.01 so that's nothing in GBP.

I was thinking of starting a new email on google n going through Blogger to open Ad sense (getting rid of Adbrite)first of course. That is if Adbrite isn't really worth bothering with. The one question I do have however is would Google consider Amazon Affliate against their rules?

Regards,

Kathy

I haven't made much better with Adsense. People does not click on those Adsense ads, so my click thru rate is something 0.01%. Only ones who are really making money with Adsense are tricks, like putting Submit Url Google ad in top in web directories or making a article about best bidded Adsense Keywords.

If you specifically target adsense by creating content that adwords advertisers are bidding on then you should average about 3 percent clickthrough rates

You have to realise that creating content that does not contain search phrases that adwords advertisers are competing with each other for, is not going to make you much money

When you're planning to create a blog post, check out some search phrases at spyfu dot com - look how much a click costs the advertiser - should be a dollar or more - also look at how many advertisers are bidding on that keyword - the more the better, as too few advertisers are the primary reason you sometimes only get a few cents per click, or no clicks at all

I can't see google objecting to amazon ads - but I wouldn't have any ads on the site until you get adsense approval

Once you've got adsense approval, you can then start to load the site up with advertising - but make sure you have plenty of content on the page - not just advertising

Writing something for Adsense purposes and not giving your unique viewpoint to your readers will be prostitucion for me.
However, my Free Online Dating Community Site for Tattoo Art and Piercings lovers to show their BodyArt for Love Match site banner ad click thru percentage in around 3% and my mobile blog - http://life.mobiblogi.com banner ad clickthru percentage is 5-6%
So, it's more problem of Google than my sites. People hate to click on Google Ads.

Smile Adsense - still clicking and earning

Wrong! - it's your problem

Adsense earnings vary wildly day to day, but for the past 7 days my highest traffic blog site got adsense clickthrough rates of between 2.06 and 3.49 percent and adsense earnings of eCPM 24.32 and 45.27 US dollars

I create no original content - I just recycle content relevant to my site's topic

I've been in the same position as you, and believed adsense was dead - and got really angry with people selling "make money with adsense" stuff - but the fact is, there is money to be made with adsense - but you have to pump out a lot of highly relevant content daily

Adsense is better than any other ad network. You will make the most out of it.However i have heard for certain niches adbrite pay better such as entertainment sites.

I know some friends who are making quite some money through Adsense, but as for me, I haven't really been gaining from it.

Maybe I stil need more effort in making my site marketable. I haven't tried adbrite though, so maybe I'll check it out.

Having used both for years I can tell you that AdSense is definitely the most lucrative in terms of revenue. AdBrite is a good alternative if your site is too risky for AdSense. Better still you can use a combination of both - AdSense ad units and AdBrite inlines.

I would pick Adsense if your account is not banned yet.
