Hello there, I recently established a new blog and I've been trying to make a bit of moeny off it. With a old blog I had on wordpress I tried to use the Google ads but they disabled my account as I didn't own wordpress. I thought it was a bit unfair they actually disabled it.. but I emailed them again with this new blog and try to edit my details.. it says can not enter a google account?? what? Blogger isn't google is it? What's really annoying is the fact that Blogger has ad sense ads on it! I've got a few Ciao buttons n one other thing on there, does that mean I can't use Adsense anymore anyway or what?? I sent them a message regarding this but they didn't reply. Are there any other ad schemes I could use to earn a bit? I've tried Amazon but i've not heard if they've accepted me yet. Hope you can help! Kathy |

| Yes it is! Blogger is one of Google's web properties The free hosted blogging platforms like blogger and wordpress are for personal, non-commercial purposes - so if you make your blog site commercial you can expect it to be banned as soon as they spot it (wordpress is very strict) Adsense rules state that you cannot have other "contextual" ads on the same page as adsense - but non-intelligent ads like banners are OK Start again with a new adsense account and domain, using a friend or relatives details for your new blogger account |

go for bidvertiser, they place good ads, even for the countries outside the US, so if you get traffic outside the US, then opt for bidvertisers. adbrite will not place the ad always.

Kathy - your best bet is to get off blogger and WordPress.org. Download WordPress from wordpress.com and set it up on your own hosting. That will put you in control. |

As I'm sure you've found out, the adsense team don't explain their actions To have your adsense account terminated you have usually got to be guilty of creating sites that solely exist to make money from advertising, or be engaging in click fraud |

The FREE WordPress blogs are not allowed commercial ads. However, Google's BlogSpot is FREE and does allow Adsense and other ads. The is one of my Google blogs. Surviving A Ruptured Brain Aneurysm. I've been keeping this one going for a while without any problems from Google. One thing you must never do is click on one of the Adsense ads on your site. Google does not tolerate any click fraud. They have heard all of the reasons and do not except any of them. ![]() One downside to the BlogSpot sites is that Google can close them in the blink of an eye. Why? Good question. ![]() Good Bloggin RT... |
