you need more ;p. right now it would just be annoying to users, but you might get a few clicks. 40 uniques a week = 6-7 a day. CTR ratio is usually 1-10%. not worth it.

I agree - 50 visitors or more PER DAY is the point to put adsense on the pages - you need even more traffic before placing banners due to the very low click through rates they receive |

You won't make any money with that level of traffic, you need to work on promoting your site and increasing and traffic before you start looking to profit from it.

As a matter of fact, sometimes there was only about 30 visits to my blog, but there was still one person clicked the ads, and sometimes there were more than 40 visits, but no one clicked ads. Daniel from DailyBlogTips said you would make money by adsense if the daily visits are 1000 or more, and my site is less than 100 visits per day, but I still earned more or less than $0.2 on an average day.

tbh i dont agree i would put the adsense ads on straight away when you are searching the web how many websites do you see with ads everywhere or banners, every website uses them i would put adsense on straight away even if you have about 10 visits per day, as tesco says every little helps.

I have heard also that u need about 1000 unic visitors a day and that your traffic must be generated from about 60%-70% organic (form search engines)... Then you will start to make some significant income from your ads...... I don't agree with putting ads from the start...u need to build up some followers first..otherwise ppl will think u r just another Joe who wants to make a quick buck.... content content .....and content... |

Regardless of when to place banners or adsense etc why not use the banner ad spots to create highlighted links to some of your hot blog post articles to increase the chances of increasing your number of pageviews per visit and thereby sucking your visitors in more to your blog. This lets you build up the graphical structure of your blog to incorporate "self ads" so that when you do have the traffic it's not a big graphical change to your readers... Just a thought that occured to me when reading this post. What do you guys think? |

In my opinion, it is never too 'early' to put up ads. Even if you have only 5 visitors a day to your site, there is a chance someone will click on an ad. With that being said, you shouldn't over do it though, start off small with a couple ads and ad more when the traffic grows.
