I'd say it has all the good ones.

I have signed up to a few so far. Have written for Sponsored Reviews, Loud Launch and PPP. Have been paid for all so far.

Will keep doing sponsored posts from time to time. (Don't want to overdo this, however, because I do fear that Google might penalise me for it!)

Try and stick to ones that are relevant to your niche and of benefit to your readers. That way it's win win and be sure to mention them in non promoting contextual ways. I have not tried those types of programs as my blog has no room for them but have heard from many that it can be a steady stream of income.

Welcome to the community,
Rob

Default Importance of consistency

Thanks for the welcome.

Re genre: Yes, it's important to keep the topics consistent and appropriate.
I see lots of blogs that have just gone overborad on sponsored posting for the money, and their blog really suffers. It's as if it loses its soul.

The trick is finding that middle ground.

Definitely. Some blogs sell out so hard that they are good for a month or so then loose all their pr and most importantly loyal visitors so they are left with nothing. Must not overdo that is for sure and be picky about which jobs you do take if this is your sort of thing.

I also came across this site www.hongkiat.com that gives off the title 26 sites that pays you to blog. There are many sites that actually offer payment per posting.
